Hello All!
After much painstaking consideration, I have decided to put Intrinsic Cunning Designs on hiatus for a number of reasons. As you know it has become increasingly difficult to generate traffic and sales on the website for a while now. I wish I had the resources and knowledge to affect a poignant marketing strategy, but unfortunately I’m still too new at all of this. That being said I’m determined that this will only be an extended hiatus and not the end of ICD.
When the time comes, I will prepare a proper loan packet and apply for a Small Business Loan, which will enable me to hire someone to assist in marketing, hopefully production, etc. which would help immensely. I feel that right now I’m spread too thin to effectively do any of my jobs, and I don’t see me being able to progress until I can consolidate and better manage my work-load. As you know I’ve had a recent and sudden move after the death of one of my oldest friends., I’m paying double my old rent, and that has also put an extra strain on my situation. Most of all though, I just haven’t felt like my whole-self since that terrible tragedy. I really need to focus on healing myself right now, and in the immediate future. I need to be the best, and most focused version of myself to continue this project effectively.
I would be completely remiss to neglect thanking my contributing artists, Bryan Stacy Art, Froggy P, BS, and Squatch. Thank you so much for having the courage to take this leap with me, thank you for your brilliant talents, and thank you for your trust. Thank you to everyone who made a purchase, who spread the word, who supported with likes and comments on social media, who lent or gifted me money to build the company. Your support was not in vain, and this train is not stopping. We are just building it better before the next time we leave the station.
Our website will remain viewable but our digital p.o.s. system will be shut down soon. I will be making some very limited runs of new prototypes in the future and will likely have some up for grabs for close friends. In these next couple years I intend to get my General Contractor’s license, learn what I can about sustainable construction, and prepare for the opening of another branch of ICD. Intrinsic Cunning was never meant to be ONLY a clothing, apparel, and accessories company. Overall, our goal is to build better, more sustainable products of many kinds. I know we can do this. I see the road ahead. It will not be an easy journey, but a necessary and incredibly fulfilling one. I have learned so much in the last couple years and fear I cannot express my gratitude well enough. Thank you for all your support of many kinds and shapes. Thank you for the words of wisdom, guidance, and encouragement. Thank you for restoring my faith in my fellow man. For all the trouble I’ve had gaining attention and support for this cause and company, I’ve been incredibly inspired by those who have reached out and expressed their care and concern. I will not let you down. There is still much hope for the future to be had.
