Happy Thanksgiving! Grateful for our mighty crew that has been hustling hard even during so much upheaval in our lives and community since Helene. We’re back to full time in the studio and is in search of production sewists to join our team ASAP! Living wage certified. Generous PTO package. Application link in BIO.

Just inches from out studio, the French Broad has swelled up to consume our arts district. We watched the river rise before our very eyes carrying buildings, artwork and livelihoods with rushing speed. I went into panic mode - getting product and textiles as high up as possible. Miraculously, our studio has been spared. Our team is safe. But our next door neighbors and communities linked all along this river and its tributaries have been devastated. They’re saying power and clean water might take weeks to restore. We will keep everyone posted on ways to help. Thank you all for your care and concern. We will regrow together!

Want to be our studio mate??? We’re renting 2000sq ft of our River Arts District studio!!! Space has concrete floors, electrical feedrail system, compressed air, fluorescent lights + natural light. Liz has created this incredibly tactile immersive space by brilliantly reimagining the use of “waste selvedge” - a byproduct of the weaving process. We helped build the pillows and bags for Liz’s project entitled (re)Material Culture at Galleria .

stitched these glorious cotton scarves and and did the screen printing in a brown ink. These beauties were my first designs to be sold in a museum gift shop. There are only a few left! I gifted some to my new art friends
