Everyone's favorite boutique owner, Mona Lax, needs your help!
My name is Chuck Barnett. I am Mona's significant other of 11 years. She is my love and my hero.
On September 27th, the first floor of her historic cottage in Biltmore Village was ravaged by the floodwaters brought on by Hurricane Helene. We had no idea the water would rise so high, or the damage would be so brutal. Water was inches away from the second story. Along with the heartbreaking destruction, she has lost her sole source of income.
2 on Crescent, Mona's business of 29 years, is closed until she can find a temporary location while navigating how best to recover and rebuild. A survivor of the 2004 Biltmore Village flood, Mona knows recovery will take months and bring a lot of uncertainty. Our hearts go out to our fellow neighbors suffering here in and Western NC.
Many loyal customers and friends have reached out to ask how they can help, and we are so grateful.
Thankfully we were able to move most of her Magnolia Pearl inventory upstairs, clear of the rising waters.
The best way to help Mona stay afloat and recover from this disaster is to make a purchase of Magnolia Pearl. You can contact her through the shoppe to see what items are available.
Another great way to help with the crippling expenses of recovery is to make a donation here.
Any purchase or donation you make today will help ease the stress of this unprecedented emergency.
Thank you for joining us to help Mona!
