I haven't posted in a while. But I have been working on a few things. This double sided t-shirt quilt is one of them.

I started on this back in the Fall. I took time off right before the holidays. And started back 3 weeks ago.

This is my first quilt. I have done quilt repair. But this is the first one I have done from scratch... So I have been watching a lot of Craftsy quilting classes 😉 And getting advice from the best quilter I know, my friend Denise better known as Cookie ❤

Working on a t-shirt quilt today. It will be queen size with a plush blanket backing.
Mapping my layout on a flannel wall. Hoping to get away with using as few filler strips as possible. But I think it is wishful thinking.

12ft X 18½" bay window seat cushion...DONE.

I made the cushion using 2" high density foam from JoAnn. I glued two 72"X 24"pieces of foam together. Then cut it to size with a bread knife.

The fabric is a mock weave pattern vinyl from Walmart. I installed a 135" #5 zipper chain. And I use a 6.0 twin needle to, both, topstitch & reinforced the seams with 1"wide grosgrain

My client is very pleased. And I must say...I am too!

My 1st project for a client since Covid started. I have to make a 12ft bay window seat cushion. I will be covering it with a mock weave brown vinyl(see pics).
