With the help of many hands Sugar Britches is snug and safe, all packed up just waiting for her new home and maybe her new owner.
The possibilities are endless for her now. A calm has come over me and the panic is gone. I know now that she will rise.
All offers and ideas are welcome but my wish is that a big truck with roll up and just carry her to her new home. I see the name, the brand, the artists, the beautiful clothes and her amazing style will just keep making more magic wherever she lands. Pass it on. ❤️🤞

Dear friends,
This was a short but sweet dream come true for me, but I'm very sorry to say it's over.
There was damage to the exterior wall of the store and the new building owners are in the midst of their own unfortunate transitions. This store will not be a priority for them. As a result I do not plan to open the building to the public due to the damage.
I'm heartbroken for the store and even more for the many local artists and consignors who filled that beautiful space.
Everyday someone would tell me what a fabulous place I had created. I always said thank you with a wink, knowing I had stepped into the fully designed and curated imagination of Diane Curry and Michael Franco. All the credit goes to them.
I really wish this wasn't so.
The "Asheville will rise up" pep talk will have to wait for another day. Today I am crushed. I'm very sorry.

If you or someone you know is interested in buying the inventory, racks, displays and store name - now is the time to get the deal of the century. ❤️
