I believe in earning your next trip to the range. How do you do that? Pushing your dryfire parctice, or whatever you've recently learned in a class taught by a professional until you think you've got it - NOW! - you've earned your trip to the range

Always push yourself. So often you'll hear two beeps from my shot timer, it's because my home dryfire mostly consists of me getting that first shot off, accurately, in under a second. OWB, AIWB, don't matter. After this last week off, I can definitely see where improvement must be made, and what to work on before I earn my next trip to the range.

Adding movement to transitions isn't the easy thing, but it may be more efficient. The cons are easily spotted: bobbing pistol, jarring sight alignment, reacquiring the target - but if the timer says that the time spent is negligible, then it is. Not being able to be on the move at a moments notice could be the thing that ends your life, or it could be time and placed shots. I think having both in the tool bag is great, though I'll likely be working on foot movement while transitioning 90° from here, and see what fruit it bares

Just working on getting off the x and placing shots on target. Adding movement to shooting helps with real life encounters that require you to find cover and or concealment.

Working on putting shots on target while getting off the "x". Foot work is important and I kinda suck. Focusing on footwork all week.
