Our first Gathered AKY stitch social is almost here. This isn't a class - just a casual get together at the studio for stitchers to work on a current project or start a new one. Needlepoint, embroidery, cross-stitch - whatever you are working on.

If you are planning a shower and want a budget friendly centerpiece, cake stands that double as dessert stands in the center of a round table or along the middle of a rectangle table are a great option.

*13 mesh means there are 13 intersections per inch. 18 mesh has 18 intersections per inch. 13 mesh results in a larger design, but both sizes have the same number of stitches. Every stitcher has their own preference, but many beginners prefer 13 mesh. 13 mesh design is 9.0”x8.3” finished, on a canvas that is 11”x11”. 18 mesh has a design that is 6.5”x6.0” finished, on a canvas that is 9”x8”.
