With a close finish the last couple of years, the Oregon State SWAT Officers Association knew they had the potential to take the win at the Staccato 2011 National SWAT Championship. We caught up with the team ahead of the competition to go over their training choices and what they changed going into this year's event.

When faced with our lineup of garments, the Oregon State SWAT Officers Association chose the Hellman Combat Pant as their pant of choice for the Staccato National SWAT Championship. The integrated kneepads offer protection in unknown environments and, while the pants were designed for aviation and movement inside of helicopters and planes, the team knew this would translate to the flat range and rapid movements that they'd experienced in years prior.

For their combat shirt, they opted for the legacy Advanced Quarter Zip Combat Shirt. The lightweight, durable, breathable torso fabrics of this shirt would provide protection from the sun and heat. Being originally designed around desert operations, the Quarter Zip would be right at home in Vegas weather.
