Our Story
The brand was started by us (a husband and wife team - Darcy Conover & Adam Moszynski) - two professional skiers living in Aspen, CO. After years of testing clothing and gear for big name companies we have grown frustrated with the fit, performance and style of baselayers, so we decided to design our own! Our high-performance apparel looks awesome on everyone and is intended for athletes of all levels. Whether ski touring in the backcountry or ripping the bunny slopes at Buttermilk, running in Central Park or trailrunning an ultra marathon, walking a dog at the farmer's market or lounging at the bar after a powder day, these baselayers are for you! We have put a lot of thought into every detail of our products - considering style, performance and function. Social responsibility is also important to us, so we are using fabric made from recycled plastic PET bottles and a renewable resource (bamboo) AND manufacturing in the USA! Another component of our business is geared toward the globally conscious consumer. Our online customers will have the option to Join the Flight by donating gently-used athletic apparel which we will distribute to charities already established in developing mountain cultures around the world (think Sherpa in Nepal and porters in Tanzania). In addition, Corbeaux will be running clothing drives to increase donations and our impact. We have spent the past year designing 10 pieces and working with our manufacturer in St. Paul, Minnesota to bring our ideas to life. After 3 rounds of product revision we have perfected our designs and we know the world will love them... we just need to make them!
