This quilt was made using a winter scene panel. It was cut apart and sashing added. This made it look like it was viewed through a big window.

Here is a great example of using appliques to create your quilt top. The quilter made butterflies of many different shapes and colors. We quilted around each butterfly with a freehand meandering stitch. Every quilt is a new challenge for thread color and pattern. There one was fun to work on.

So many little pieces artfully put together to make a beautiful quilt. We stitched a design called Heraldic Hearts from edge to edge.

💙💜💙 **She's finished!** 💙💜💙

The **Divide & Dash** quilt is officially complete—binding and all! I had so much fun watching this one come to life. The vibrant Kaffe Fassett prints absolutely sing together, and I finished it with the "Wind in My Hair" pantograph on my longarm, adding just the right amount of movement across the quilt.

If you're quilting along with me and you're not finished yet... **please don't worry!** ❤️ Quilting isn't a race. Life happens, projects get set aside, and that's perfectly okay. The videos and instructions will remain online, so you can work at your own pace and come back whenever you're ready. I'll be cheering you on every stitch of the way!

Now it's time for me to turn my attention to the **Christmas version** of Divide & Dash, and I can't wait to start sharing that journey with all of you. 🎄✨

Here is a beautiful example of paper piecing. I doubt that this design could be accomplished without using paper piecing. The swirls draw you into the quilt until you are deep into one of the circles. The purple border has a design called OWL EYES. Each of the spokes of the center wheels is outlined. The main body of the quilt is done with a meander design.
