Happy Sunday! Last week I did my first ever Live Sale-gracefully hosted by . Besides being profitable (which is always necessary) it really helped me get my feet wet and try something new. I really enjoyed showcasing some of the special pieces I’ve found over the years and interacting with this online community as well. I actually had fun! My goal is to hit y’all up once every two weeks with short Live Sales (so please hit me up and tell me what you’re looking for!)… I’ll also be doing more to show y’all the behind the scenes efforts of this whole business, and what it’s like momming these two babies while in school and running this business. I have A TON of items that will find their homes in this community of second hand lovers. I’m also getting ready for a spring clean so get ready for that! Thank you to all of you who supported the Live Sale by watching, commenting, following, sharing, and purchasing! I appreciate y’all so much and can’t wait to see y’all rocking your pieces.

Hey y’all, that’s Tommii on the left, and me on the right. We’ve known each-other since 7th grade! When we were 21 we moved to Atlanta. Damn that was a time! The A was much different back then. Anyways, this is around the time we started discovering our love for vintage and thrifting. We used to have hella fun scouring Value Village and bickering over pieces we wanted. I would always cut her to try and find the best pieces on that isle 😂. Let’s just say that I had to learn thrifting etiquette. She would always find the best nighties and I would find cute ass dresses. In 2014 we started to sell our finds on Etsy. It was a lot of work! Since that time we have evolved and created the PeachesNdMangoz platform.

Tomorrow I’ll be hosting our first live sale. I’m excited, a little nervous, and very proud of myself for living one of my passions. I would love for y’all to stop by and support. Liking, commenting, and sharing does a lot for our platform as well. Hope y’all are having a beautiful Sunday!

Mini purses are the trend now… Zara, Shein… even the luxury brands… Almost every one is creating a mini purse. I swear it feels better if you have a vintage one tho! 3 reasons why you should cop a vintage purse:

1. It’s probably quite unique. Most likely you won’t have a bag that everyone else does.
2. It’s 2nd hand which means it didn’t take any new resources to create it and has less of a negative impact on the environment. I’m pretty sure the entire earth could probably go a few thousand years without making any new clothes if we just used the ones that already exist.
3. Chances are it’s of higher quality than many of the purses made today. Quality was more important back in the day. Even with more affordable items.

I’m kind of a thrift addict. I love the hunt. I love finding pieces for myself & I also love finding dope items for other people. I’m the friend who wants photos when my girls come up on unique ass thrifted/2nd hand finds. I’m the friend who needs a photo when one of my girls gets a new hair style, or when they’re trying on fits for some event. One of my goals this year is to help people step out of their traditional day to day routines by spicing up their styles. I promise yall, it only takes a small shift to make major statements. I see fashion as art. I love finding new ways to flip old things… I’m super excited for this first Live Sale on 3/7 at 7:30EST. I have all kinds of sizes (2-16, small-XXL) and looks. I’ll be focusing primarily on spring looks but I’ll definitely have some items for all seasons. To help me curate the sale, drop some pieces that you’re looking for, colors you’re into, or anything else you want me to know for the sale. 😘
