🌟 Important Announcement: Temporary Closure 🌟

Dear 1977 Hustle Lane community,

We have an important update to share with all of you. As a small black-owned business, we take great pride in our journey and the impact we strive to make. On June 19, 2023, also known as Juneteenth, we will be temporarily closing our online store to commemorate this significant day of freedom and reflection.

This pause will allow us to reset, restructure, and reimagine the future of 1977 Hustle Lane. We'll be taking this time to refine our designs, strengthen our brand, and create an even more amazing experience for all of you.

We are incredibly grateful for your unwavering support, and we promise that our passion for trendy athleisure and empowering women remains as strong as ever. Stay tuned for exciting updates and sneak peeks into what's to come!

Before the day gets away from us.
On this Mother's Day, we want to give a special shout-out to all the amazing moms out there who work tirelessly to nurture and care for their children. Your love and dedication are truly inspiring, and we are grateful for everything you do.

To those who have lost their mothers, we know this day can be especially tough for you. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Your loved ones may be gone, but their memory and love will live on forever.

We also want to acknowledge those who may struggle with this day, whether due to infertility, miscarriage, or the inability to have children. We see you and want to offer our sincere love and support during this difficult time. You are not alone, and we stand with you in solidarity.

To those who have lost their children, we cannot imagine the pain and heartache you must feel. We offer our deepest condolences and hold you in our hearts on this day.

Hey there, have we met? I'm Jala (pronounced Jayla)- the owner of Hustle Wear. I'm a proud graduate of an HBCU (CAU in the house), and I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia (although I'm originally from St Louis, MO). The STL in Hustle is what made her.

I'm all about staying active and healthy, and one of my favorite ways to do that is by running. Back in 2011, I met a couple of amazing ladies from Black Girls Run, and they totally inspired me to get into running. Since then, I've been hooked - it's not only a great hobby but also helps me stay in shape and maintain a steady weight.

When it comes to workout gear, I always like to stand out. That's why I'm constantly on the lookout for the freshest, most stylish athleisure sets to wear while I'm out running and racing. In fact, my love for bold, trendy workout gear is what inspired me to create my own athleisure line - 1977 Hustle Lane!
