Woolly bears are on the move! These caterpillars are the immature stage of the Isabella moth, a native insect that feeds on the leaves of a wide range of plants in North America.

⛄Throughout the Appalachians, lore has it that the amount of black on the woolly bear in fall may predict the severity of the upcoming winter.
