Somehow we found even more this time?

This time we picked up some gorgeous prairie dresses, jumpsuits, fabric, and lingerie.

But don’t be fooled, there’s still SO MUCH left to shop from. 4500 sq ft of vintage clothing as far as the eye can see….

Quilt coats hot off my hands.

1930s+1940s feedsack + star quilts. Hog meal feedsack pocket lining. Organic cotton twill tape bound seams, sewn by hand, slowly. Very slowly.

I love creating with finite materials. It forces me to be very creative with construction techniques. Happy to give these tattered and torn babies a new life.

Officially the owners of our very own 1940s sweetheart set💘💌

Part love letter, part morale booster- these sweetheart lingerie sets were gifted by soldiers to their loves waiting back home in the 1940s.

Due to rationing, elastic, lace, and metal components were limited- leading to creative construction methods and simple silhouettes. The intrigue is in the colorful embroidered text, “keep your pants on until I come home”, “off limits”, “don’t touch”, and “sweet and sour”.

Our set features a little zipper in the gusset, making this piece extra special.

I am so happy to have this little piece of history in our shop!💝💝

REPAIR IS REBELLION!

It often surprises people that I hand sew all of our repairs in-house. No matter how busy we get, I always make time to give these pieces a new life. Whether I’m sitting on the couch or behind our desk, I probably have a needle and thread in my hands. Lots of work, time, finger pricks, and love.

I will be reopening my repair commissions in the new year, please keep an eye out for details.
