So my mama calls me stressed out talking about she behind on rent and needs help before she gets a notice.
Now y'all know that's my mama, so of course I'm trying to help.
I asked her how much she needed and she told me $1800
I ain't even argue. I said cool.
BUT...
Instead of sending the money directly to her, I called the leasing office and asked if I could bring a money order in
They said yes.
So I paid it.
Tell me why this woman got MAD. 😭
Talking about:
"Why would you do that? You don't trust me?"
Ma'am...
The rent got paid.
You still got a roof over your head.
The problem got solved.
What are we arguing about?? 😭
Then she starts talking about how I embarrassed her and made her feel like a child.
Now I'm confused because if the goal was to keep you from getting evicted... mission accomplished. 🤷🏽‍♀️
But the more upset she got, the more I started wondering if that rent money was actually supposed to become rent money.This is why it’s hard to help someone.
