4 years ago, I wrote on a piece of paper that I wanted to build a fashion school that offers debt-free fashion education and guaranteed placements. Emphasis on guaranteed placements. Far too many (fashion) graduates are in crucial debt and/or struggling to find jobs and I wanted a different outcome for our SELF Academy ® students. I thought, “what if I did the job sourcing and contract negotiating for them? How hard could that be?” That simple idea birthed Booked by SELF Agency™️ Agency, the award-winning student employment arm of SELF Academy ® Academy. Next thing I knew, I solidified a roster of over 120 companies globally eager to recruit (and pay!) top talent from SELF Academy ® Academy. Our students could now receive *paid* summer internships each year, followed by a full-time job upon graduation. We have more placement opportunities than we currently have enrolled students. 😳

〰️In 2023, Booked by SELF Agency™️ Agency achieved a 100% Student Placement Rate.
〰️In 2024-2025, Booked by SELF Agency™️ Agency maintained a 100% Student Placement Rate.
〰️This year, so far, Booked by SELF Agency™️ Agency is sitting at a 95% Student Placement Rate. But I’m confident we’ll return to 100% by this Fall.

I’m so proud of me! 🥹💕 You already know, I had to celebrate myself. Ice-cream for the win! 🎉

We closed the 2025-2026 school year in SELF Academy ® Academy with more jobs secured than we had enrolled students. I was/am adamant about providing our students with *paid* summer fashion internships so that their time and efforts are compensated.

SELF Academy ® Academy is redefining fashion education in the heart of Atlanta, and beyond. I’m proud of the work we’re doing. We’re just getting started.✨

This past March, I traveled to Chicago for the first time to meet with top fashion employers eager to recruit talent from SELF Academy ® Academy, and to support the innovation of TYLER MORGAN STUDIOS. In between meetings, I participated in fun sightseeing activities which was needed. A special thank you to TYLER MORGAN STUDIOS for sponsoring my trip.

The future of SELF Academy ® Academy is super bright. I’m excited, and deeply grateful! 💕✨

At the end of my life, my greatest desire is to hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”✨ It’s literally why I remain committed to the assignment God has entrusted to me - SELF Academy ® Academy - and why I strive to pursue it with excellence, integrity, and faithfulness every. single. day. No matter how difficult the tasks or seasons may be, I’ll still show up with my best fit on. Speaking of fit, you see this look? I made it. 😌🤭

Knowing that I honored God’s calling on my life is what matters most to me. I just want to continue to be a faithful steward of everything He has placed in my hands. ™️ 💕

More than 90 companies across the country are eager to recruit (and pay!) fashion interns from SELF Academy ® Academy. In the last few weeks, our first-year fashion students proudly presented their first ever Capsule Collections showcasing the skills, creativity, and technical expertise they developed throughout the school year. This is a major milestone in their fashion education journey.

We’ve officially closed our 2025-2026 school year in SELF Academy ® Academy. Our first-year fashion students have submitted their final projects, a contemporary 3-piece Capsule Collection, which is currently under review for placement considerations.

At SELF Academy ® Academy, we educate and employ our fashion students. Students who performed well on their collections can be eligible for a *paid* summer fashion internship nationwide. Plus, their collections may be featured in retail stores this summer. Stay tuned to learn which students/collections have been selected. 👀

What a beautiful way to close the school year! I’m beyond proud of all of our students. 💕✨
