It’s Day 5, OUR FINAL DAY of wearing the same black dress to shine a light on the issues Georgians face with period poverty.

For the past 12 years, I've participated in the Little Black Dress Initiative to bring awareness to important issues facing Georgia's women. I've advocated for everything from generational poverty to improved literacy to s*x trafficking. This year, Junior League Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties is focused on Period Poverty awareness.

THANK YOU to everyone who has donated so far. By donating, you are providing dignity to women of all ages who are suffering from period poverty. Your donation will help us to stock Period Pantry at local high schools and other organizations with whom we partner.

If you'd like to help my League fight for resources, access, and affordability for those who need it most, please consider making a donation TODAY to JLGNF. Every amount is helpful...even $10 can make a HUGE impact.

It’s Day 4 of wearing the same black dress to shine a light on the issues Georgians face with period poverty.

🎯What the Statistics Are Telling Us🎯

📌 45% of teens admit to wearing a period product longer than recommended due to not having
accessible products, while lower-income** (53%) and Hispanic teens (52%) report experiencing this more
frequently.

If you'd like to help my League fight for resources, access, and affordability for those who need it most, please consider making a donation this week to JLGNF. Every amount is helpful...even $10 can make a HUGE impact.

It’s Day 2 of wearing the same black dress to shine a light on the issues Georgians face with period poverty.

Did you know that **1 in 3 women misses work or school** just because they don't have access to period products?

Did you know that period products in Georgia cannot be purchased with WIC or EBT?

Did you know that period products are taxed the same amount as luxury items in Georgia?

At the Junior League of Gwinnett North Fulton, we are doing something to change these statistics.

If you'd like to help my League fight for resources, access, and affordability for those who need it most, please consider making a donation this week to JLGNF. Every amount is helpful...even $10 can make a HUGE impact.
