We Entertain Compound is “Creator’s Playhouse.” Our mission is a simple one, “to create a space that inspires creativity that will allow artists to make their dreams come to life.
Summary: Responsible for enhancing the customer experience in the Compound’s event space and other customer facing parts of our space. Support the growing demands of the compound’s facilities maintenance, with responsibilities to include but not limited to; light maintenance (i.e. changing lightbulbs, ____), event room clean-up, general meeting clean-up, special project/detail cleaning as requested and assistance with custodial duties (i.e. restrooms, common areas, general cleaning) as needed. Full time or Part time position available
Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
• Ability to lift to 25-40 lbs. for moving of supplies and equipment.

• Physical requirements include ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, significant bending and stooping to clean.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Embrace the concept of exceptional service with a strong willingness and a sense of pride exemplifying We Entertains core values.
• Able to work a flexible schedule with the understanding that special events and large small to large gatherings will be a part of the regular schedule
• Moving and relocating tables, chairs, cabinets, and stacks of chairs as required to set up meeting space areas
• Using specialized cleaning / maintenance equipment safely and effectively Performs a wide variety of general maintenance activities
• 20hr - 30hr. per week - Flexible Work Schedule
• Ensure that the entire common areas, dance, photography, recording, Love Jones spaces and adjacent conference rooms are well maintained, cleaned and ready for our guests before an event.
• Ensure all conference, event rooms, and community spaces are put back in original condition at the close of an event; if not set back to original state, put room back to original
• Review daily activity and event calendar for We Entertain in order to prepare for upcoming events.
• Receive and respond to alerts for maintenance of any facility issues that need to be repaired or maintained.
• Assure kitchenette space is clean and restroom facilities are cleaned throughout the day
• Checks Fire Extinguishers daily to ensure OSHA requirements are met
• Check cleaning supplies quantities to ensure sufficient levels for cleaning is appropriate. Contact management to inform advise management of low stock quantities
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour
