Happy Tuesday!

Proactive energy is required if you want a better design experience! The reason why we love the top of the year is because it forces you to look back and address all the things that worked and that didn’t.

Our goal for 2022 is to be more Proactive in how we use our time and resources to be able to better prepare for what’s to come.

My point is 🗣 Go hard today to make a better tomorrow! The same is required for the company that You keep! Is your tribe motivating you or holding you back?

Hey Indies!

Happy Monday!

As we gear up for the new year I want to affirm why you should drop the collection!

The only true way to see what you are made of is to do the thing that scares you the most!

Here’s what’s I hear often:
➡️ I’m not making any sales > I haven’t released any new pieces in weeks or months.
➡️My customers aren’t paying my prices> I’m selling to the wrong audience. My fb friends aren’t my customers
➡️Why don’t I have any engagement> I have no branded content or work just bits and pieces of what I work on.

Moral of the story… It’s time to Get intentional about our business and proactive in our planning!

🗣To grow the flower you have to study the seed ‼️

Hey Indies!

Happy Monday!

Have you ever questioned why you’re undercharging? I’m sure everyone has had a moment on their journey where they feel like their going in circles.. like is it even worth it?

When I get into this space I like to dial back and actually figure out what has me feeling this way.

FOR ME PERSONALLY… I remember getting into this space EVERY SINGLE TIME I PRICED TO ACCOMMODATE THE CLIENT just to secure them not to actually grow the business 🙄

How many times has a customer reached out to you and you quoted lower in hopes of making the sale. Then You make the sale only to realize it just wasn’t exactly worth it because the amount of work needed vs what was quoted doesn’t add up.

I’m sure we’ve all been there however how I challenged myself to get out emotion ( because how you feel vs what your customer’s experience are different) was to look at why I was so afraid to Charge my worth. I recognized that I was pricing low because their was an insecurity in the experience that I was providing for my customer…

For Instance…

If your brand focuses on Bridal…

What experience are you providing to secure high paying clients? What impact are you leaving for them to feel like their making a sound investment? And the amount of years you’ve been in the game just ain’t enough anymore ( competition has proven that🤷🏽‍♀️)

🗣My point is Don’t sell yourself short underpricing clients because you aren’t clear on your value‼️ (Read that again)

How are you preparing to overcome that emotion in 2022?

How are you getting your customers to see the value in what your designing?

How are you measuring your true impact on your customers as it relates to your brand?
