A Stay and Play weekend at Lanier Islands Resort was just what my wife and I needed.

The amenities were great and the golf was superb.

If you're in the greater Atlanta-Metro Area and looking for a quick getaway with your significant other, or looking for a convenient spot for a golf weekend with your crew, I can't recommend Lanier Islands Resort enough.

Come for the birdie on 2, stay for the triple on 6 😅

A night golf, par 3 course was something missing in the Metro-Atlanta golf scene and Lanier Islands Resort not only filled the void with The Six, but they knocked it out of the park.

It features a beautiful view over Lake Lanier, various distances, quality bunkers, and fun undulating greens. With synthetic tee boxes and greens, you can always count on consistent conditions throughout the year. (Nothing worse than a par 3 course with sand for tee boxes and pockmarked greens)

My only regret was not having a couple buddies join. It's a perfect 1.5hr hang with the crew... Add in a couple bevvys + some friendly wagers and you've got all the makings for a perfect night.

Y'all gotta check it out!
