OKAY, WHAT'S THE STORY HERE?

13 Fifty was founded in a garage, by a South Florida LEO who wanted to create comfortable, high-performance apparel for First Responders to wear both on duty and off. The name is derived from the thirteen stripes and fifty stars in the American flag, as a tribute to all the heroes who have fought to protect our great nation. We honor your service with ours.

POV: It’s Friday, the warrant hit clean, nobody said ā€œquick meeting before you leave,ā€ your sergeant hasn’t texted ā€œcall me,ā€ and for once the paperwork is somebody else’s problem.

Life is good, boys.

Stay sharp. Stay humble. And whatever you do, don’t make eye contact with the supervisor five minutes before shift change.

Happy Friday from 13FIFTY.

13FIFTY mourns alongside the Atlanta Police Department following the heartbreaking loss of Recruit Moses Russ.

There are no words that make a loss like this easier. Recruit Russ had already dedicated so much of his life to serving others and was continuing that calling, working toward the badge and a future in law enforcement.

Tonight, our hearts are first and foremost with his family. Behind every uniform is a son, a brother, a friend, and someone deeply loved. While the law enforcement community mourns the loss of one of our own, we know there is a family facing a loss far greater than words can express.

To his family please know that you are surrounded by an entire community that stands with you. We ask our brothers and sisters across the country to keep them close in your thoughts and prayers, not only tonight, but throughout the difficult days ahead.

We also stand beside his friends, Recruit Class #302, academy staff, and the entire City of Atlanta Police Department as they grieve one of their own.

The law enforcement family stretches far beyond department lines. When one hurts, we all feel it.

May Recruit Moses Russ be remembered for the life he lived, the people he impacted, and his willingness to serve.

Rest easy, Recruit Russ. You will not be forgotten.

SUSPENDED. SUSPENDED. SUSPENDED.

We support professionalism.
We support transparency.
And we also support matching the level of customer service to the customer.

They gave him the badge numbers.
They answered the questions.
They maintained their cool.

But the direct eye contact while announcing ā€œSUSPENDEDā€ over the PA?

10/10 customer service. šŸ˜Ž

POV: You’re just driving down the road and see the whole tactical alphabet hanging off a truck headed somewhere with purpose.

Don’t know who you are.
Don’t know what you did.
But brother… they brought everybody.

You’re cooked. šŸ˜‚

When the boys are stacked that deep, somebody made a series of poor decisions. -13FIFTY

Well… apparently we’re so hot we set off the fire alarm.

Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services stopped by 13FIFTY after an alarm decided to cause a little unnecessary excitement. No fire, no emergency so naturally we turned the false alarm into a station tour, some good conversation, and sent the crew back out with some 13FIFTY swag.

10/10 response time.
0/10 actual fire.
Would absolutely have them over again… preferably without the alarm next time.

Big thanks to Gwinnett Fire for stopping by and for everything they do for their community. Stay safe out there, fellas.

September is Su***de Prevention Month.

In this profession, we get really good at saying, ā€œI’m fine.ā€

We see things we can’t unsee. We carry calls home that we’ll never talk about. We lose people we couldn’t save. We make the notification. We hear the screams. We see the worst day of someone’s life and then we clear the call and go to the next one.

We learn to compartmentalize. Make the dark joke. Show up for the next shift. Go home and try to be a spouse, a parent, a friend like none of it followed us through the door.

But sometimes, ā€œI’m fineā€ is the most dangerous lie we tell.

Check on your people. Especially the strong ones. The funny one. The dependable one. The one who is always checking on everyone else.

And if you’ve survived a season that almost took you out, tell your story. There is strength in saying, ā€œI’ve been there too.ā€

Because someone still fighting their way through it may need to know there is another side.

Our DMs are open. No judgment. No explanation required. Not just this month always.

The job is heavy.
Be your brother’s keeper.

You matter. Stay.

Today is National Police K9 Day so of course K9 Tyson had to help us make this announcement.

We LOVED seeing all the photos you guys sent us for National Dog Day. Seriously, you showed up with some incredible good boys and girls.

And now it’s time to make it interesting…

The winner of the personalized 13FIFTY K9 swag will officially be announced September 15th at the K9 Cop Magazine Conference in Nashville!

13FIFTY will be there September 15–17, and Tyson is coming with us.

If you’re headed to the conference, we want to hear from you what do you want to see us bring? Shirts? Hoodies? Bags? K9 gear? Drop it in the comments and let us know what you want to see at the 13FIFTY booth.

And make sure you stop by, say what’s up, and meet K9 Tyson while you’re there.

Today, we’re giving a little extra recognition to the four-legged officers who show up, put in the work, and serve right beside their handlers.

Happy National Police K9 Day to all the working dogs out there.

Nashville we will see you September 15th. K-9 Cop Magazine

13FIFTY is proud to stand behind Norcross Police Department as they celebrate the opening of their new Public Safety Building. This isn’t just a new facility it’s an investment in the officers who serve, the resources they need to do their jobs, and the community that depends on them every single day.

Strong departments help build strong communities, and seeing a community invest in its public safety professionals is something worth celebrating.

This is exactly why 13FIFTY stands behind agencies like Norcross. We don’t just support the uniform we support the people, departments, and communities behind it.

Congratulations, Norcross Police Department we’re proud to be in your corner.

SROs have one of the most important assignments in law enforcement.

They protect our schools, mentor our kids, build relationships, and show up for them in ways that go far beyond the badge.

We’re incredibly thankful for the men and women who choose to serve inside our schools every day protecting, mentoring, and making a positive impact on the next generation.

And we love seeing them have a little fun while doing it.

SROs, we appreciate you.
