With it being the new year, I thought it’d be appropriate to give an update on my life and what’s been happening with me and officialblackandboujie.
The past 6 months have been the most challenging yet rewarding, because from a business stand point, we:
1. Gave away $1000 in scholarships
2. Raised approximately $300 for Mental Health America - Greater Dallas
3. And began work on our voter readiness initiatives.
On a personal note:
1. I moved from Texas to Georgia
2. Wrapped up my first semester of law school
3. Grew a deeper ken and respect for law
4. And even made new friends
Although it hasn’t been easy, there’s an old saying; “nothing worth having ever does come easy!”
So for the new year, I am wishing everyone more life, more love and more strength to tackle any challenges that come our way!
