A message from Shannon Marshall, one of the co-founders of The Linda Sousa, A Better Dream Foundation π¦ October 13th is dedicated specifically to Metastatic Breast Cancer. It was not until Linda LeClair Sousa was diagnosed with Stage IV/Metastatic Breast Cancer/MBC, did we learn how underfunded research is for this terminal stage of breast cancer. MBC Research has come a long way since 2015 which has resulted in more/better treatments and as a result people with MBC are living longer. I struggle with posting the ugly stats of MBC because I try to be sensitive to my family and friends out there who are living with MBC and also those who are early breast cancer survivors. But today is the day. I cannot ignore. Please read and donate to organizations that fund STAGE IV Breast Cancer. Through research there are now cures for so many cancers. Itβs time to turn all of this pink focus onto MBC! My aunt, cousin, and friends are bravely living with MBC every single day. The least I can do is spread awareness on this day. My sweet soul sister was diagnosed with MBC in June 2015. Linda lived, loved, laughed, inspired countless others, fought like hell, suffered greatly, and passed away in July 2017 at the age of 44. Linda taught us all so many lessons and enriched my life for sure, but the reality is that she also leaves a huge hole in the heart of those who loved her most. We need a cure! A portion of the proceeds from our PINK Collection will be donated to The Linda Sousa A Better Dream Foundation Please read.

Although Shannon and I see each other pretty much on a daily basis and are continuously talking, we never run out of things to talk about...
