Good Morning! 🏌 Happy Tuesday!
September is Su***de Prevention Month. 💙💜
And this one means more to us than most people probably realize.
Millertime Tools was born from a part of my story I never thought I’d be brave enough to share publicly.
I’ve survived things I’ll never get apologies for, things that could have completely shattered me. And while healing hasn’t been easy or linear, therapy, reflection, and finally choosing myself helped me find a way forward.
Little by little, I started putting myself back together and somewhere along that road, Millertime Tools was born.
What started as a small business became so much more than making things, it became our purpose. Creativity, connection, something to wake up for.
And it became one of the reasons our “Note for a Stranger” tags came to life, too. Because I know what it feels like to be hurting in silence. I know what it feels like to wonder if anybody would notice if you disappeared.
So the idea that a complete stranger might stumble across one of our tags on a bad day and read a few words that make them pause, breathe or feel just a little less alone? That means everything to us.
Maybe someone needs to hear, “You matter.” Maybe someone needs a reminder that they're not alone and maybe someone just needs a reason to make it through today.
If our tags can give somebody even a moment of hope, then it’s worth making every single one.
I still have hard days, I still have days where old wounds hurt, but now I know something I desperately needed to know back then:
A bad chapter does not mean it’s the end of your story.
So if you're reading this and you're in that dark place right now, please stay.
Even if you don't know how things get better, even if you can't see tomorrow, even if all you can do today is make it through the next hour - Stay.
Talk to somebody, tell the truth, ask for help, let somebody sit with you in the ugly parts.
You are not a burden, you are not insignificant and you are not what someone else did to you. I know because I was once the person who needed to hear those words.
And this isn't just a message for the people who are struggling, if you're doing okay right now, check on your people. You never know what a simple “How are you?” might mean to someone who’s quietly struggling.
If you’re in the U.S. and you’re struggling, call or text 988, you don’t have to carry it alone.
And if you just need someone to hear you, our messages are always open. You don’t have to have the right words or know what to say - we got you.🤝🌱
