Hugs from Heaven

The heartache of losing a loved one is something that leaves your arms feeling so empty, many tears cried into pillows. We long so for the comforting touch of our loved one, the hugs , their special smell. After my beautiful daughter Kylee passed I had the vision of creating something special for her children. Something to hold at night, something that reminded them of their mother. One day during

tears, a


shattered heart I ventured to my basement, where I had a tote of Kylee's clothes. I saw her pillow that she held while in the hospital and during her final days of Hospice. I don't know how long I sat among her clothes, holding them tightly in my arms. Pieces of clothing I made her, or ones that were her favorite comfort clothes. Between tears that wouldn't stop I got the inspiration to create something out of her clothes for her children. I picked a few items that I knew they would remember and proceeded to create Hugs from Heaven pillows. The loved ones favorite perfume or flower scent can be added to the rice bag. Warm the bag up, wrap around the neck and it feels like a warm loving hug from heaven. I want each of you to know that I will never turn anyone away if they are unable to pay full price for pillows or teddy bears. It is not my intent to make lots of money from this service. It is my hope to offer a service that comes from my heart, to bring just a little bit of comfort. I do need to make money, as I have been out of work for a long time. But I will never turn a person away for lack of money. I know the heartache of grief, and of money worries. But I have also known much love and many giving hearts that have helped me along the way.
