Come learn all kinds of new techniques and crafts tomorrow at our first Fiber Arts L/A event! 10am-3pm at the Auburn Public Library. A list of demonstrations are as followed:
Spinning/weaving
Quilting- modern quilting, slow stitching, piecing with poppers, art quilts
Natural dyeing-dyeing with flowers and other organic materials
Knitting/crochet-knitting mitered corners(pictured above by Cindy Charloff), prayer shawls, magic loop
Embroidery techniques
Smocking
Sewing and apparel design- demonstrating pattern making methods, up cycling, and simple alterations.

Tomorrow is the BIG day. Stop by the Auburn Public Library between 10am-3pm for amazing demonstrations, activities, and just general help with any fiber related project you may be working on.
Learn new techniques in knitting such as the ~magic~ loop for two at a time socks by Shelley Rau. Or get some inspiration to start a new project from the pros.
There will be a colorful collaborative quilt activity facilitated by Quilt Essentials much like the one pictured above by Kitsie Claxton for all to participate in.
