Air Force ROTC Detachment 005

Air Force ROTC Detachment 005 This site serves as the Public Affairs page for Detachment 005. Recruiting Officer: [email protected] Give our receptionist, Ms.

Detachment 005 is a unit of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) which operates out of Auburn University. As an AFROTC unit, our mission charge is to develop quality leaders for the Air Force; more specifically, to produce the best Air Force Officers who go on to serve in our Nation's military. As an AFROTC cadet, your life looks fairly similar to a typical college student on the

outside. However, behind the facade of civilian wear, our cadets develop over the span of their undergraduate degrees into an elite group of extremely professional Air Force Officers of high character and sound judgement. Here at Det 005, we pride ourselves in our fine history of commissioned officers. Will you be one of the few who carries on our trend of excellence? Mary Doiron, a call at the number below and schedule your detachment tour today!

🚨PA REVEAL🚨

Det 005’s Public Affairs Flight Commander, ⭐️Ava Hogan⭐️, graduated from Auburn University on Friday with a degree in Political Science. She will head to San Angelo, TX to start her career as an Intel Officer!

Originally from Tampa, Fl, Ava has loved meeting so many new friends over these past four years. She cherishes all the memories and experiences made- from Spring Break trips and bonfires to Field Training and LLABs, she will truly miss it all! Her favorite memory is being PA flight commander this semester and having the opportunity to capture what it means to be Det 005. She would advise anyone starting out the program to simply be kind and self-reflect often.

We’re so proud of you Cadet Hogan! Congrats on everything you’ve worked so hard to achieve and good luck in the Big Blue! War Eagle Always 🦅
