10 years ago, before we bought the flower shop, but after we decided to sell our treasures, we use to have โ€œjunkโ€ sales out in our building. Thereโ€™s something really special about that phase of life: when things are a little uncertain, a little scrappy, but full of meaning. Those โ€œjunkโ€ sales werenโ€™t really about junk at allโ€”they were about stories, connection, and the joy of passing something along to someone who would appreciate it next. That kind of sharing has a way of turning ordinary days into something memorable.

What stands out most is how we tie it to what came next. Sharing the love of old wasnโ€™t just a momentโ€”it was a foundation. Those easy, fun days helped shape the shop weโ€™ve built, and you can still trace the line from then to now. Thatโ€™s rare, and itโ€™s powerful.
This memory holds a lot of emotion for me, and the best part is seeing what that day built for the days beyond it.
