ShashwathSilks is indeed a heritage business of Devanga Chettiar family. Devangas are weavers. In fact, today many families have chosen other professions. Yet there are a whole lot of weaving families who live on daily wages and honor their looms. After executing the business for 30 years, Mr Mallichetty Chettiar retired and now the business is taken over by Ramya Nagarajaiah (daughter in law) reaching the USA markets and is known well for silk sarees in the Chicago area. We have had over 1000 customers in 3 years and happy to serve them all and we thank them for the support they have given to us.
