Pelican Post & Paperie

When I created Pelican Post & Paperie, I envisioned being a mobile boutique; traveling to various parts of the city bringing a unique experience to stationery nerds like me. For the past two years, I have been parked with other mobile boutiques at The Lawn. I had a great time with the friends I made there. But it is time to bring the original vision to life. The Pelican was always meant to fly!

So I'm shaking things up & taking this show on the road! I'm looking for venues to hold 2-3 day Mini Pen Shows! Once a month, The Pelican will pop-up at a new location & fill the weekend with workshops, writing groups & meetups as well as give people a chance to come purchase their favorite products. It's an exciting adventure and I hope you will come along with me for the ride!

We've all been there. You see a beautiful journal. You buy it, bring it home, put it on your nightstand and then...it just sits there. Neglected. Unused. Sometimes we feel afraid to start writing because we might "ruin" it with bad handwriting or lame entries. Sometimes we just don't know how to get started. I can relate 100%. But an empty journal is not fulfilling it's purpose. And it wants to be useful. I've got a few tips I'd like to share to get you using that lovely journal:
First, open to page 1 & scribble all over it. There. You've "ruined" it. Now you may as well write in it. Second, look through these prompts & just pick one. Start writing. You'll feel the benefits write away. And your journal will feel happy.
