Whenever Maridad Studio swings by the shop for a vintage frame drop, we stop what we’re doing and admire.

Jenn Pate’s figurative illustrations live in that space between whimsy and the uncanny, where life literally embodies flowers, fruit, cocktails and more, turning the mundane into magic.

Each piece is one-of-one, paired with a genuine vintage frame, so you’re not just getting art, you’re getting a little piece of history to hang it in.

National Book Day got us like 📚 yeah, we have books. Curated, just like everything else in the shop, we have books by local authors and bestsellers too, because a good read belongs right next to your favorite candle and ceramic mug.

✨ Meet the Maven Monday ✨

Say hello to Dan Grissom of Biscuit Press, one of the newer artists to join the Clover + Maven crew! 👋

Dan is an Austin-based illustrator and printmaker whose work is colorful, nature-inspired, and rooted in a love for making things by hand. While screen printing is his primary medium, Dan also works with block printing, painting, stained glass, and letterpress.

Originally from rural Louisiana, Dan has been working professionally as a designer, illustrator, and printmaker for around 15 years. Today, he works out of his Austin garage studio, Biscuit Press, where he creates his own work alongside longtime friend and letterpress artist Lindsey Verrill (and, of course, studio dog Buck 🐶).

We’re so happy to have Dan and his work here at Clover + Maven — stop by, say hi to his art, and give our newest maker a little love! 💚

Join us Saturday, August 8 from 11 AM–2 PM (or until sold out!) as Frederick & Maurice of Brown Sugar Bake Shop-Austin Texas bring a fresh batch of their incredible cookies to Clover + Maven!

As one of our favorite bakers (and longtime residents in the shop!), we’re always excited to have them back for another Let’s Get Baked pop-up.

✨ To beat the Texas heat, this month’s pop-up will be indoors.

Our Austin Studio Tour Maven Market Application is Live!

📅 Mark your calendars: Nov 14–15 & Nov 21–22, we’re throwing our annual Maven Market from 11a-5pm for Austin Studio Tours!

We’re seeking vendors for tents and tables, but we’re also seeking DJ’s and artists for on-site activations.

Vendor/ Artist Booths are full-weekend only. ✨

Whether you’re an official AST artist looking for a host location, or a maker who just wants in on the market, we’ve got a spot for you.

🗓️ Official AST Artists — apply by Aug 10 for Host Location status + discounted booth fee.
