You guys. I’m releasing a new patch design today and I’m so excited! I have an 8 year old daughter who is very interested in learning about the design process and additionally she is also a talented little artist. I wanted to show her every step in the process of designing an item from start to finish. I knew I wanted to add a bat to our patch lineup, so I asked if she wanted to draw one for me. So she did and I walked her all the way from pen and paper to production of a final product. It was so fun and exciting to show her the final patches!! Needless to say, I am super stoked on her and happy to release our next series “Bat City Kids Club”. Hats and beanies coming this week and apparel is next!

About Kindred and Kid

When I had my daughter in 2014, there were not a lot of unique options for a stylish mamas and their kiddos. I began creating fashion forward items for my daughter, and eventually launched my business online via Etsy. I received such a positive response, that I grew the business to include not only handmade item

I strive to keep my business as waste free as possible -- hairbows are made from fabric scraps and moccasins are made from repurposed leather. My sewn clothing items are made using either vintage or upcycled materials. I believe there are so many ways to create beautiful, stylish items that are not “disposable”. I believe that handmade and sustainable is the future of fashion!
