When you are a shoe designer, getting excited over a brand or new shoes is a challenge. Our eyes are so critical as we see shoes in a different light. Last year thru instagram doom scrolling, I found a brand called .madrid. I was very fond of her style, and how she styled her shoe designs. I trusted my instincts in placing an order without trying them on . I don’t know why but all week I was anticipating these shoes, and yesterday was beyond excited to find these oxford beauties on my doorstep.
With deadlines, I normally work from home. However, this morning, all I thought about it is wearing my new shoes. I packed my bags and headed to the Soho House to work.hahaha.
I’ve seen similar styling before but the last was maybe off, the shoe too stiff or even too soft. This has the perfect shape and comfortability. The leather is soft and luxurious . I found my perfect little summer shoe.
Can’t wait to go to Spain this fall, and Madrid will be one of my stops, and definitely to Renate’s showroom to add another one of her beautiful shoes to my footwear collection!
