Ever see a dead deer on the road and when you look up, you see massive wings flying in a circular motion ready to dive bomb down? Well these incredible animals actually help prevent the spread of diseases because of their stomach acid.

It’s really interesting to me how so many things we see happen with wildlife may disgust us or just outright confused, but when you pull back the layers and learn what’s actually going on, just fascinating.

The same logic applies with farming and ranching. Will Harris so infamously talks about this, once he switched to regenerative practices his ranch began to be “teeming with life” He would say that over and over again when I visited because it’s true.

This might be far bigger than you realize, massive win for MAHA, and massive win for regenerative agriculture.

Iowa is in a very rough spot, largely due to not so great agricultural practices which has resulted in:

Some of the worst rates in cancer in America

Water has been decimated and contaminated from ag run off and factory farm waste

Heavy dependency on chemical inputs destroying soil fertility and the health of Iowans nearby

Zach Lahn, who went up against Trump backed candidate, has now won the Republican primary. This is an incredible step to see how he can help Iowa farmers and ranchers turn away from their reliance on herbicides and insecticides, and instead help incorporate regenerative practices that can rebuild soil fertility.

There are many different ways to get your food, a grocery store, farmers markets, roadside stands….

But you can also buy direct from all the awesome farmers and ranchers.

We as a society have been so disconnected from our food for far too long, good thing it’s slowly changing. Having a relationship with the folks who grow your food is something that should be the norm.

You can learn just how much work goes into it all, humanizes it all, and most importantly, gives you a way to truly verify where your food comes from and the quality/care behind it all.

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt recentky signed a bill that allows dairy farmers to sell up to 1,500 gallons of raw milk directly to its consumers, major increase from only 100 gallons.

The bill also allows the ability for dairy farmers to advertise their raw-dairy products on their farm.

This is a great win for the raw dairy farmers of Oklahoma.
