A little progress peek at my Hideous Zippleback from How to Train Your Dragon ✨

I’m about 7 hours in, and let me tell you, this body took a TON of trial and error before it finally came together. But I’m really happy with where it’s at. I’m heading out for work travel soon, so it might be a couple weeks before I can finish those two iconic heads… figured I’d leave you with a teaser until then! 🤭

Please note this project is completely freehanded and I do not plan to release a pattern at this time.

Don’t get me wrong, posting your work is important, but I’ve found that posting the behind-the-scenes of a project matters just as much. I love showing off my finished pieces, but I also love showing all the labor that goes into them. Which do you prefer? Just seeing the finished product or seeing what goes into it as well?
