When I first launched my design studio, it felt like starting over — like going from a high school senior working full-time at a design firm to a college freshman, but this time, working for myself.

So, when one of my very first clients, a young tech company based in SOMA, San Francisco, hired me to design their headquarters, I was thrilled to create a sophisticated space that reflected their identity.

A few years later, when they reached out again for their new Austin, TX headquarters, I was elated to continue our journey together. This time, I had one key prerequisite: the interiors had to feel residential.

The result was a moody, minimalist space that was incredibly fun to design and bring to life.

Design process: curating a material palette of moody neutrals, warm woods, natural stones, patina metals, and soft texture — layered together with quiet depth. it’s always a little magical to create palettes for a project; it feels like completing a textural puzzle you’ve just created.

A minimal palette with warm undertones, dark accents, & just enough contrast for character - to me, will always feel curated, classic, & timeless ☁️

Once upon a time, I interned at an architecture firm in Milan. I’m sharing more on my design blog I recently started on my website. I used to write one when I was a student studying interior architecture & design. It was a place for me to share all the things I adore & enjoy about design, travel, & life. This year, I’m gravitating back towards the things that bring me simple and genuine joy. One of those is my time interning in Milan.
