Hi y’all! I’m Justina & I run Whiskey River Vintage + Angel Spit. Many of you may not know this but I have lived with Crohn’s Disease for most of my life. Late last year I went through a distressing event that triggered my first big flare up in 7 years. I’m hopefully on track for remission, but it’s been a 5 months long process with many doctor visits, an ER trip, getting sick several times while on steroids, and finally getting prescribed a new medication after imaging and waiting months to see a specialist.
Before it became clear that this flare was here to stay and the expenses it would incur I started planning an international trip for my 30th birthday coming up this summer. Additionally, last month I found out that I need to get the crown on my front tooth, which was knocked out by a crowd killer at a hc show 10 yrs ago, needs to be replaced. I’ve included pics from the original incident and getting my new temporary crown for your enjoyment lol. Needless to say these extra expenses have been stacking up and it would be super helpful to raise some extra funds to help with my medical bills. I have been working my ass off nearly every day to pay for everything and save money for my trip, all while navigating several layers of destabilizing life circumstances. I wouldn’t say this is an emergency and do not want to take from others in dire straights but I’d love to have a little breathing room / weight off in the realm of finances.
