WE’RE HIRING IN AUSTIN! 🐀⛓️

Are you ready to represent the fastest-growing q***r apparel brand in Texas? Sir Rat Leather & Gear is looking for a dynamic Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at the Austin-East Cesar Chavez location. This is more than just a retail job—it’s an opportunity to be a brand ambassador and a staple in our community.

We are looking for someone who thrives in high-energy, kink-positive, and consent-driven spaces and is excited to help with our legendary events both on and off-site throughout the year.

📍 THE SHIFTS

We are specifically looking to fill our essential weekend and late-night slots:

Thursday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Friday: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Midnight)

Saturday: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Midnight)

We will need you EVERY weekend for work. Please be mindful about the shifts we are asking for BEFORE applying.

🛠️ THE ROLE

More Than Retail: You’ll be managing the shop floor while also providing support for our various pop-ups and community events.

Community Focused: Interact with our diverse community and help us maintain an inclusive environment where everyone belongs.

Brand Ambassador: Showcase the "infamous Sir Rat energy" while helping customers find the perfect streetwear, leather goods, and gear.

KINK3D began as a passion project in 2019. Ever since, they’ve been researching and prototyping, testing and tweaking, combining the latest developments in 3D printing with an obsessive focus on design.

Their products live at the intersection of form and function, desire and fashion, s*x and style. They make the toys we want to see in the world.

All their 3D-printed products are original creations that are designed in house and specially manufactured in the USA with custom-tuned additive technologies.

Costs keep going up, making it harder for small brands to keep creating, keep producing, keep showing up. And on top of that, the political climate hasn’t exactly made things easier for our community.
We’ve been feeling it, and we know a lot of you have too.

So instead of pulling back, we want to lean in.

One of the things that matters most to us at Sir Rat Leather has always been supporting other small businesses. The makers, the creators, the people doing this because they love it, not because it’s easy.

With that in mind, we’re making a small but important change.

We’re bringing some of the brands we believe in into all three of our stores, so they have more visibility, more support, and a better chance to keep going through all of this.
