SCOUT is a new brand that helps young families stay active & get outside. Our first product is a jog Hi there! We are Mike and Meegan from Austin, Texas.

We are parents who enjoy sharing our love of the outdoors. One of our fondest memories is a full moon hike with another couple in Yosemite National Park. It was a spontaneous adventure – hatched late one afternoon in an office cubicle. We drove across California after work and hit the trailhead at 10:30 that night. The next morning we were watching a majestic sunrise standing atop Half Dome! Jump

ahead a few years to full-scale family life. We want to instill that same sense of outdoor adventure and possibility in our kiddos. Family logistics can make it tough though. We often crammed everyone into the 2nd row to make room for our BOB, which was always hogging the 3rd row! :) We were typically headed to Austin's Town Lake Trail or some other nearby park. Sometimes the stroller hassle would become too much and we simply dialed back our plans and ended up sticking close to home...a far cry from that Half Dome sunrise. Mike is an engineer so of course he had to find a solution. How do we get out and about quickly with all our gear so we raise our kids to be spontaneous explorers too? SCOUT was born in our garage. After a successful Kickstarter and 2 years of development with moms and industrial designers, we’re thrilled to share it with you. We hope SCOUT helps you find your own adventures too.
