Rave On Vintage is a shop run by a husband and wife team that is passionate about the style and culture of the mid-century modern era. They travel the country endlessly in search of quality finds from the 1950s and 60s with a strong emphasis on clean and simple, yet functional designs for everyday use. The store is situated in a pink and grey house that was built in the 1960s. Multiple rooms are s

taged, showcasing a wide array of MCM furnishings and décor in a non-cluttered fashion so you could visualize how the pieces could work in your own home setting. There is one room dedicated to bedroom furniture, there's a wet bar to showcase vintage bar ware, a kitchen with Pyrex and accessories, and of course multiple living and dining areas with credenzas, tables, chairs, sofas and more. You'll find quality American-made pieces from companies such as Broyhill, Lane, Bassett, and Heywood-Wakefield along with beautiful English and Danish modern teak furniture. The owners have a very refined vision and only put pieces in the store that they would consider having in their own home.

Rare walnut bookshelf from Drexel's "Declaration" line of quality furnishings designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall in the 60s. This multi-functional piece has a beautiful tambour door section that slides open to reveal an additional storage area. The two shelves up top are adjustable. There is also a secret pull out workspace perfect for your laptop. The back is stamped Declaration by Drexel and is dated 11-62.

We haven't had one of these in years and I can't even find another example for sale on the internet right now. Priced $1100. More photos, info, and purchase options on our website.

Hey y’all! Check out this very unusual mid century modern estate find. Not sure the designer or producer. It’s made of five modular pieces that sit atop an 8' long base. You can arrange the pieces to suit your needs. The two open bookshelves have glass sliding doors that were removed for the sake of photos.
