Buckle up Texas “it might snow” showing “warnings” and saying yall could be out of power for a week to a month..does that not sound more like a threat then a warning? ‼️
Ways to stay warm and stock up now tips:
-Hand warmers the electric ones that stay charged to the old skool one time use
-oil candle from Amazon or store that last 6-12 hours at a time
-stock up on charcoal if you have a grill
-tin foil food recipes for the grill have a few
-keep all pets and household in one room to stay warm (fish tanks might not last) 2021 freeze was so bad the whole fish bowl froze with him
-solar panel generator or gas generators
-don’t worry about your phone charge status
-get foods that are easy,will last,easy to cook stored in cans,freezer for atleast two weeks worth just in case
-if you have babies canned formula to whole milk canned milk is great for this as well
-treat like a glamping situation don’t stress for kids flash lights ready, books, make a fort
-don’t travel during the snow unless your vehicle and you’re a trained to drive in weather for us most Texans we don’t have snow tires so don’t risk it
