& sometime you just over due for a PRAISE BREAK! 🙌🏾 Don’t matter the time, situation, or what the day looking like… when God been good, BABY you better act like it! 👏🏾

On this particular day… my mind was EVERYWHERE. Busy. Overthinking. Asking God for overflow. Asking Him to increase. Asking Him to move.

And just that quick… He reminded me I already had something to shout about. 😭

The number of orders may have been low that day… BUT BABEEE the amount each customer spent was UP ⬆️ & in abundance! 💰

That thing hit me so hard because it made me realize there’s VALUE in QUALITY customers over quantity. Whew!

More money 🤑 with LESS work while my hands 🙌🏾 already full?! LOOK AT GOD! Won’t He do it?!

Because babeee one thing about me… a chair HATE to see me coming 😂 because I’ll break out in praise anywhere! Could be gratitude 🙏🏾, confusion, frustration, or exhaustion… child ima still get up & worship.

I’m learning sometimes you confuse the enemy by praising God BEFORE it all makes sense. 👏🏾

And sometimes you can’t even find the words… but God is a HEART reader. So keep your heart posture good, get up & dance 💃🏾 anyway, and watch how QUICK the atmosphere shifts. ✨.

Well allow me to reintroduce myself from my past life. Hi 👋🏾 everyone, I’m Mrs. Green… The School Teacher 👩🏽‍🏫🍎

Now listen… WHO would’ve thought 💭 that volunteering at my son’s school in 2018 (which was really just me being a concerned mama because we had JUST moved to Texas & it was his first time in charter school 🤷🏽‍♀️) would turn into a full blown teaching opportunity?!

Baby when I say God will place you somewhere you NEVER imagined… HE WILL. One regular day of helping out, loving on kids, being patient, showing up, and minding my business turned into the principal basically interviewing me on the spot asking if I had a degree 😂

And at the time… your girl had JUST earned her bachelor’s degree 🎓👏🏾

Now let me tell y’all something… teaching is NOT for the weak 😮‍💨😂 Them babies will humble you QUICK. But they also taught me some of the greatest lessons of my life. Patience. Discipline. Routine. Balance. Grace. And most importantly… dependence on God.

There were SO many nights I cried because I wanted to quit. Whew 😩 Entrepreneurship was calling my name, the boutique was on pause, and I couldn’t understand why God had me in a classroom instead of fully chasing my own dreams. But looking back now… it was never about the money. It was about the assignment ✨

Those kids needed love. Structure. Consistency. Somebody to SEE them. And somehow God trusted ME enough to help carry that assignment during a season where schools were lacking teachers.

And baby if God brings you to it… He’ll definitely walk you through it 🙌🏾

That season stretched me, strengthened me, kept me on my knees praying DAILY 😂 and honestly made me a better woman, mother, entrepreneur, and leader.

So although that chapter may be in the past… if you know me then you KNOW teaching & kids will forever hold a special place in my heart ♥️🥹

Would you believe me if I told you this voiceover is being done at 6 AM… yes, 6 in the morning 😩

Not because I wanted to be up… but because I’m still trying to shake the anger from yesterday. & yes I said anger 🤬 but honestly I do get mad/ upset about things but barely ever get angry. Anger to me requires hate & longevity & I pride myself on not having time for that because it allows you to become STUCK & harbors unforgiveness. & I just don’t want that for myself.

And babeee when I say it had me… it HAD me. To the point where I’m up here re-cleaning stuff I already cleaned 🧼😒 Like girl… be serious lol. Folding, straightening, doing anything just to calm my mind… and in the middle of all that, I’m still trying to show up as a mom, — showcasing new arrivals, creating content, & still pushing through.

Now let’s not ignore the real star for a second 😍 THIS DRESS?! The material? Everything. The color? Everything. It’s giving spring, it’s giving soft, it’s giving “yeah I needed this” 💕🌸

But back to the real…

I had to literally sit myself down yesterday. No phone. No distractions. Just me & God. Because I knew if I didn’t shift that feeling, it was gone spill over into everything.

Turned on my gospel 🎶 and right on time… one of my favorite songs came on. And just like that, I felt it lifting. I prayed. I breathed. I released it.

And look at me now… back working, back creating, back focused 🙌🏾

It really blows my mind every time how good God is. No matter how heavy it feels in the moment, He always knows how to pull me back in, reset my mind, and remind me of what really matters.
