We launched our project in 2014 by searching out the most gorgeous, traditional clothing from Puebla and Oaxaca. As a result we began working with a few very talented artists. Our mission is to be a platform for indigenous Mexican artists so that they can share their culture with the world. Each item is made with traditional techniques and exhibits the cultural heritage of the region. Ojo de Venad

When you support our shop you are buying directly from the artists so that they receive a fair wage for their work. This allows them to continue creating their artwork and to keep their traditions alive. Emprendimos nuestro proyecto en 2014 buscando las más hermosas prendas tradicionales de Puebla y Oaxaca. Como resultado, comenzamos trabajar con talentosos artistas. Nuestra misión es ser una plataforma para artistas mexicanos indígenas para que puedan compartir su cultura. Cada artículo está hecho con técnicas tradicionales y representa la herencia cultural de la región. Ojo de Venado se enfoca en el comercio justo, ofreciendo productos no tóxicos, bordados y tejidos a mano como chalinas, chales, y arte de las comunidades Otomi y Huichol. Cuando apoyas nuestra tienda, estás comprando directamente de las artistas, para que ellos puedan recibir un pago justo por su trabajo. Esto les permite continuar creando su arte y mantener vivas sus tradiciones.
