This started as an idea…
but I wanted to give space for someone else to create.

I believe the next generation carries creativity.
So I asked someone younger to design it and this is what Melany created 🎨

From brokenness… to healing.

Esto comenzó como una idea…
pero quise darle espacio a alguien más para crear.

Creo que la nueva generación tiene un corazón para la creatividad.
Así que le pedí a alguien más joven que lo diseñara y esto fue lo que Melany creó🎨

Today I want to share a little bit of my story.

There was a season in my life where I felt defeated. I was facing many obstacles, doubts, and moments where it felt like the enemy was constantly present. I felt lost and without direction.

But little by little, God began to show me the way again. Through my family, my friends, and His Word, He reminded me who He is and who I am in Him. During that time, James 1:12 became very real to me.

“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial…”

That verse reminded me that the obstacles I had faced were not the end of my story God was calling me back to Him and teaching me to put Him first again.

What once felt like defeat, God turned into purpose. I went from wanting to give up to seeing God open doors even allowing me to start a ministry with my dad and build community together.

Somos XII was born from that journey.
Not just as a clothing brand, but as a reminder to persevere in faith and trust in God’s promise.

Hoy quiero compartir un poco de mi historia.

Hubo un tiempo en mi vida donde me sentía muy derrotado. Sentía el peso de muchas pruebas, dudas y momentos en los que el enemigo parecía estar constantemente presente. Llegué a un punto donde me sentía perdido y sin dirección.

Pero poco a poco, Dios comenzó a mostrarme el camino nuevamente. A través de mi familia, mis amigos y Su palabra, Él me fue recordando quién es Él y quién soy yo en Él. En ese proceso, el versículo Santiago 1:12 cobró un significado muy profundo en mi vida.

“Bienaventurado el que persevera bajo la prueba…”

Ese versículo me recordó que todas las pruebas y obstáculos que había enfrentado no eran el final de mi historia Dios estaba llamándome de regreso a Él y enseñándome a ponerlo primero otra vez.

Lo que comenzó como un momento de derrota, Dios lo transformó en propósito. Pasé de querer rendirme a ver cómo Él abría puertas incluso permitiéndome comenzar un ministerio junto a mi papá y familia y construyendo una comunidad juntos.

De ese proceso nace Somos XII.
No solo como una marca de ropa, sino como un recordatorio de perseverar en la fe y confiar en la promesa de Dios.
