VINTAGE 101 LESSON:

Let’s talk about Pyrex Spring Blossom! One of the longest running patterns, it was available on the market for nearly a decade.
It was initially released in 1972 (below right) but was redesigned in 1979 (below left). Production ceased entirely in 1981. Spring Blossom is commonly referred to as “Crazy Daisy”.

What's your favorite Vintage Pyrex Pattern?
For those wondering, "What's so special about old Pyrex that has made it so collectable?" Besides the fact that there are many fun colorful patterns and it's still fairly easy to find the pieces to collect, there are 2 very practical reasons. The older borosilicate glass formula in Vintage Pyrex is much more heat/shock resistant and durable than modern kitchen glassware and you can use it in the oven, microwave, or fridge. Also now many people are conscientious about cooking without having plastic or metal toxins contaminating their food. 👍😊

I like the Pink Gooseberry and picked Homestead as our Everyday Set.
