Dear Valued Customers,
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our owner and friend Jeremy Swaim, who passed on Monday evening. We further regret to inform you that Jeremy lost his life at his own hand.
This loss is deeply felt by all of us here at Thimble Towne. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Jeremy’s family during this incredibly difficult time. We extend our heartfelt condolences to them and hope they find strength and comfort in the cherished memories they shared with Jeremy.
In light of this devastating loss, it is with deep regret that Thimble Towne will be closing permanently. Despite our best efforts, we are unable to continue operations without Jeremy Swaim’s leadership and vision.
We understand the impact this may have on you, our valued customers, and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are aware that there will be outstanding matters, such as quilts he had accepted for quilting services, that will need to be returned, and are committed to assisting you during this closure period.
Should you have a quilt in our possession, or any other concerns, please email [email protected] with a description of the quilt and contact information.
We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support and loyalty through the years. It has been an honor to know you all and assist in your projects and quilting needs, and we thank you for your understanding in this incredibly difficult time.
In light of this tragic event, we want to encourage anyone who may be struggling or in need of support to reach out for help. If you or someone you know is experiencing thoughts of su***de or emotional distress, please contact the National Su***de Prevention Lifeline at 1 (800) 273-8255.
