Our Second judge will also be on hand to appraise your quilts. Denise has judged for the Dallas Quilt Show as well as others and brings a wealth of experience to the process. We are fortunate to have her as well. If you would like your quilt appraised you will be able to sign up at the time you drop of your quilt or during the event if there are time slots open.

Denise Bartosh, M.A., is an AQS certified appraiser of quilted textiles, judge, lecturer, quilt collector, award-winning quilter, educator, and restorer. She is driven by an incredible passion for the quilts and their makers throughout the strands of time.

Denise belongs to the American Quilter's Society, National Quilt Museum, Professional Association of Appraisers of Quilted Textiles, American Quilt Study Group, Quilter's Guild of Dallas, Garland Quilt Guild, & Austin Area Quilt Guild.

The sky is the limit with this theme. Think about all the things you would find on the farm...... This is the 2017 quilt show theme. If you have a quilt with barns, silos, tractors, animals, vegetables, plows, chickens (yes I know that's an animal), windmills then this is the category for you. Quilt entry forms must be in by May 1st. You can find the entry form posted at www.mesquitequiltguildinc.com. Cost to enter for non-members is $5. Most categories have a cash prize and will be judged by a certified judge.
