As we promised back in 2022, our Nekkid Breathwork sessions are almost here. These virtual learning sessions will be held over three meetings in March. In preparation, we are pleased to offer a FREE introductory session on Sunday, February 19 @ 12 noon EST.

This session will familiarize attendees with the basic tenets of mindful breathing as well as proper breathing techniques. During this session we will also establish group agreements. This will enable the Nekkid Crew to create and maintain a safe and welcoming container where everyone feels safe to be open and vulnerable.

Last weekend we decided to try a new site. At nearly 4 hours away, it was not our first choice. At the same time, it was too close not to explore. All-in-all, White Tail was a pretty nice getaway for Labor Day weekend. We had been camping in the mountains of late. One of the features of camping close to sea level is that your tent stakes tend to go in much easier. 😁 Due to prior obligations, we were not able to leave Baltimore until 3pm. That left us arriving at White Tail just shy of 7:30pm, with two stops along the way. The check in process was thorough. Dave greeted us from behind the front desk. He was friendly, though I couldn’t see a smile behind his mask. We introduced ourselves as first time visitors. Motioning to two chairs and the nearby cup of “clean” pens, he asked for our photo IDs. His efficient manner and thin blue line cap suggested a law enforcement background. After about 30 minutes, we left to setup our tent in twilight. That evening there was a wedding. Everyone was naked, except for the priest. Dave had informed that everyone was invited. From the sound of things it was a raucous affair that lasted into the wee hours. After a long day, we just wanted to chill. As we zipped up our XL double sleeping bag, we feel asleep to the sounds of the wedding after party. Over the din one could hear the distinct voice of a single, extremely inebriated women, “I’m peeing! Don’t look this way; I’m peeing!”

People underestimate the power of skin-to-skin contact in building intimacy. We frequently talk about the importance of skin-to-skin contact for babies but we seem to think the soothing benefits end when we grow up. They don’t! Honestly, they might even increase. Find a lover or a friend and get in those nekkid hugs (safely of course!) It’ll soothe your soul 🥰
