The 5 C’s of Business: COMMUNITY

There’s an old African proverb that says, “If you want to run fast, run alone. If you want to run far, run together.”

Entrepreneurship or even climbing the ladder in Corporate America can get lonely, but you don’t have to be alone. Building and growing a team [those that think like you and those that don’t] can help in those times of loss and learning lessons. Creating a core community can conquer and cover more territory than a single person alone.

Collaboration is a key to growth along with many others; doing it alone shows strength but doing it together exhibits wisdom.

True Story: I tried to do it by myself 🙃

I’m learning very quickly that I can not do it all. Being an only child and reared to be independent, it was difficult for me to let people help me or even ask for help [still sounds weird to me].

I’ll be posting a lot about this two year journey I’ve been on to become the designer have always had it in me to be & this personal process of development as an entrepreneur.

Tip: Team work really does make the dream work ⚡️

It’s not just a shirt but a declaration ⚡️

By wearing the Word we make a decree that our hearts are made new [and we definitely need it now more than ever]. Luke 6 reminds that there is a connection between our heart and our mouth. What’s in our heart will manifest in our words.

Today, we set a precedent to let the Word do a work in our hearts and partner with Christ as a new creation 🙌🏾

In July I was given the opportunity to share some tips on the Marketplace, Ministry and Money. Over the years I’ve been privileged with opportunities to either work or volunteer in various industries and I have to be honest and say it’s only starting to make sense now.

I encourage you all to embrace ALL of your experiences, no matter how much they don’t make sense lol

Had an amazing time shooting with this momma and friend! A stylist styling a stylists was something we thought would be challenging but working with Steph was so easy and she let us do our thing!
