We're midway thru June and that means the official start of Summer is almost upon us….but it's also LGBT Pride Month!



I'm a lil late in creating something fun and festive for the occasion, but one of my friends asked me if I could make this lil number here…

I think it's safe to say that fringe is in! And I'm quite liking the rainbow of colors and the movement in this skirt.

This is a test item in preparation for the final one I'm making. Still need to tweak this a bit before I make the final item, but let me know what you think!

My friend Ty asked me last week if I could make this wrap for her. She needed something to wear on her nights next to her backyard fire pit.

After studying the pic she showed me, I was able to find the pattern from to create this piece. We decided on cotton yarn and earth tones that complimented her beautiful skin tone.

Social media has dubbed this the "Quarantine Shawl" for the pattern's popularity. It's large, soft, and cozy--all the things you need to make you feel good during these times. And the choice of cotton ensures it's not too hot for a summer night.

My friend snapped this pic about 5 minutes after I dropped it off at her door, so I think I can safely say she loves it!
